Carrier TRU-Tech & TRU-View Diagnostic and Reprogramming (Engineering Version) v01.19.00

Carrier TRU-Tech :

The TRU-Tech system is a multi-lingual PC based application which interacts with the Truck Trailer Controller firmware running on the Truck Trailer Controller system.

The TRU-Tech Software and the controller firmware have two communication modes. TRU-Tech supports multiple families of microprocessor based refrigeration units

Connected mode
USB link and serial Communication is used to transfer data and commands between the PC and the controller/offline storage device.

The TRU-Tech Software transmits the user commands to the controller when it is received from the user and updates the new status on its screen

Standalone mode
Neither controller nor the offline storage device will be connected to the PC. The user will only be able to create/modify the settings file in this mode

Carrier TRU-View:

TRU-View module reads and analyzes the data stored by the controller of the Truck/Trailer/Rail Refrigeration unit and provides the information in graphical and textual form for user interpretation. In the TRU-Tech application, Reports become an integrated module.

This means that by installing the TRU-Tech application, report functionality becomes available.

Based on the user types, it is possible to enable or disable the report functionality like any other functionality using the Privilege list.
