NEXIQ eTechnician Software

NEXIQ eTechnician is a heavy-duty diagnostic application designed for technicians working on Class 4–8 trucks, buses, and off-highway equipment. It runs on a Windows-based laptop and connects to the vehicle via standard 6-pin, 9-pin, or OBD-II diagnostic connectors using a NEXIQ USB-Link adapter.

Features

1. Reads active and inactive fault codes with full descriptions, not just raw code numbers
2. Displays live sensor data in graph or list formats for comparison during road tests
3. Shows ECU, engine, and component identification data
4. Performs bi-directional tests: cylinder cutout, injector tests, forced DPF regeneration, and output/actuator commands
5. Records diagnostic sessions and generates reports ready to present to customers
