Liebherr LTM 1400-7.1 All Terrain Crane Operator Manual

The LTM 1400-7.1 is a multi-axle all terrain crane. It drives to site on public roads, sets up on outriggers and works with a telescopic boom. This manual is for the person taking the crane over, usually a relief or new operator who needs the controls, setup sequence and daily routine in front of them before the first lift.

What this manual helps you do

  • Learn the controls and instruments in the carrier cab and the superstructure cab.
  • Follow the safety rules before you drive, set up or lift.
  • Set up on outriggers in the right order and prepare the crane for travel.
  • Plan lifts with the load charts and load moment limiter, then operate the telescopic boom and jib through hoisting and slewing.
  • Inspect and care for the crane with the service and maintenance routines and the inspections of cranes.

Who this is for

Crane operators and operator trainers. The operator uses it at the controls and on the daily walk-round, and the trainer uses it to take a new person through the crane in the same order the book does.
